Hi everyone, I'm new here, so apologies if this is going in the wrong place or isn't accurate enough.

I downloaded a piece of software called TUTU flash player from

and installed it without a problem on my N70. However, whenever I press the menu button now, I see the text 'Menu' at the top, but it then goes back to the previous screen.

I have tried restarting the phone and removing the battery for several minutes. I have also contacted the manufacturer of the software but I am waiting for their reply.

Any help you can give me will be very greatly appreciated.

as you have have tried rebooting it, my advice would be to format it *#7370#. as long as the application was put installed on the PHONE, it will restore your phone back to how it originally came. you will loose all data etc unless you have made a backup either on your pc or memory card.

if it was installed on your memory card, try copying your data using a card reader and then format your card. this will clear your card and you can then put all your tunes and pics back onto it

I assume that this is another way of doing what I did - a hard reset. When it's off, hit GREEN + THREE + STAR -> POWER.

This seems to have cleared everything up, it's just a pain I'll have to do all my settings again.

yes its the same thing. as i said, if you had a backup, you could 'restore from card' in the memory card menu. i suggest you make a regular backup BEFORE you install anything again. at least that way, you can format it again if you have any problems without losing all your settings etc. sorry ; (

Hmmm, a backup would probably be a good idea. I shall do it straight away, even if it does mean I can't store as many funny photos.

you can always make a backup using your pc, that way you'll have the space on your phone. backups are always handy! if you ever upgrade your software, you'll lose all data unless you have a backup
