N5800 Problems after upgrade

I have done a search and not found a direct answer to this.

The phone asked if I wanted to update the software on Wednesday night. I did the upgrade, and left the phone charging as usual. Thursday morning, I unplugged the phone, the first I knew of a problem was when someone rung - the tone sounded like a scratched cd with pauses and jumps in the ring tone.

The next thing was trying to reply to a text. Type a word and it takes between 4-12 seconds for the word to appear on the screen. So you type an entire text and have to wait for it all to appear at once lol.

Then the battery. It used to last a day easily, it is dead every day by 14h00, having been fully charged and unplugged at 07h00 in the morning.

I read somewhere about the memory card may be corrupt. Removed it totally, it still does it, and the battery is down to 2 bars already now. Used the phone once since 7am for a 2 minute call.

Please use plain text.
