Recently I replaced my route and set up a WEP key.

I searched for it on My N96 and when asked typed in the WEP key thinking i’d only have to do it once like I did last time.

Now every time I ask it to use the LAN it asks for the WEP key? Anyone know of a reason for this?

Try setting your Wep key manually. To do this, goto Tools>Settings>Connection>Destinations>Internet>Select the Access Point you want to set the key>Wlan Security settings>WEP key settings.

It said I could not change protected settings so I made a new one, added my network, put in the WEP and now all is good again.
