Music Player - All Tracks Problem

When I copy sound clips onto My N73 to use as message alerts and then update My Music Library they get included in all tracks. Is there anywhere I can put these on the phone so that I can still use them as message tones but they dont show up in the all tracks list?

Its a bit of a pain when you have the Music Player on Random Play.

Many Thanks

Music Player - All Tracks Problem

If you add as message alerts (by example) sound clips in mp3, wma, ogg, wav they are going to be recognised by music player. But if you convert these sound clips into .amr format i think that they will no longer appear in the music player library. :smileyhappy:

Re: Music Player - All Tracks Problem

What I did was to mark the ringtone files as hidden after setting them. You can use either PC suite or something like Y-browser.

But yes, it's a stupid problem to exist in the first place. Also the gallery pulling in icons from applications and such. Needs fixing - how hard can it be to only look in the Sounds / Images folder?
