Low memory issues

[ Edited ]

Hi everyone,

I have a Nokia 5800 XM and ever since I updated my device with the most recent firmware (50.0.005) I've been having memory issues.

Programs (such as Opera) that worked fine before the update started making 'Out of Memory' warnings. Is the new firmware using more memory? Is there a way to fix this?

This does not only happen with Opera but whenever I try to open several features like msg's and the log together.

I did not install any new apps since the update and I reguraly check if there are more app running then I need.

A little advice would be much appreciated,

Thanks in advance,

IanTrout

Re: Low memory issues

Out of memory warning are due to RAM outage. SOmething is running in your background that eats up RAM. For the record, using contacts bar homescreen with 20 contacts and music widget eats up to 10mb more RAM than shortcuts homescreen.

Re: Low memory issues

Also try clearing privacy data on your browser, will regain quite a lot of RAM, and try RamBlow app it's really good :smileyhappy:
