Lotus Notes Mail Client for Nokia N9x

>> option 1 : use IMAP/POP/SMTP
I am excluding the IMAP/POP/SMTP option, as I am looking for a client tool that will connect / replicate using the Lotus Notes protocols.

>> option 2 : upgrade your Lotus Notes mail server infrastructure
This is what is offered with mSuite for instance. This is excluded as well.

>> option 3 : what I'm looking for is a native, robust and comprehensive mail client solution that can connect / replicate / download from Lotus Notes mail ?

Any advice ?

Thanks.

I don't know of a Lotus Notes client for any S60 based device. I suppose you'd have to request IBM to write one, if they haven't published the interfaces/protocols/data formats for others to develop such an app.

If the info is published, then there'd have to be a big enough market for the developer to recoup the cost in developing such an app (possibly with some sort of licensing fees or royalties to IBM).

I suspect there might not be enough Lotus Notes users with N95 or other similar phones to warrant that. At least IBM and other developers do not think there is, if such an app doesn't already exist.

Option 4: Web/browser based access.

The whole of the rail network uses Lotus Notes as their mail client I would hope that would be enough!

Since I search also a solution, I found that - Onebridge - http://www.sybase.com/products/mobileenterprise/onebridge; but how it´can be setup to work well?

It´s an old apllication, without further developments, so it should work with modern symbian devices, like 5800 or N82?

Hi,

I think what you are looking for is Lotus Traveler. You have clients for Many mobiles including Nokia, Windows Mobile, etc. but you need to install a server module on the Domino.

I can not give you any more information but I think if you check on google you'll find it

I am currently using it and it works fine, replicates agenda, contacts and email on my N97, only problem is that it integrates with Nokia standar email which is very poor app.

Good luck
