Lifeblog on N97

There used to be this application on the N95 8GB phone called Lifeblog. You can use it to create a blog post from a photo, and upload it to various blogging service, including for example a self-hosted WordPress installation. I use this quite often.

I don't find the equivalent in the N97. Anyone knows what happened? Is there some replacement? (Share Online doesn't seem quite the right thing.) Or other ways to get blog posting capabilities back?

Basically the lifeblog uses a XMLRPC API to submit postings.

Re: Lifeblog on N97

Lifeblog was discontinued long ago and wasn't on S60v3FP2 devices either.

If you use the search box you should find plenty of posts about it and what people use as an alternative.

Re: Lifeblog on N97

I tried searching this discussion forum but didn't quite find a solution. But anyhow it set me thinking on the right keywords to use with Google, and I've found something that works from http://phoneboy.com/2938/posting-to-wordpress-blogs-from-share-online-30.

Although Share Online appears to have "hard coded" the kind of services it will talk to, it turns out we can teach Share Online about additional services for it to talk to. My first posting to my WordPress blog: http://zitseng.com/archives/2165
