Pros:
> Notifications tray! (though still doesn't show emails. also, I want more details, like the 'late' Notifications widget had)
> Easier control over connections (prevents those nasty programs from auto-connecting)
> Faster camera startup (I think)
Cons:
> Can't stand the bloated, colorful widgets. Prefer Anna's minimalistic white-on-black widgets. Also, I need 2 homescreens instead of 1 to use all functions I had in Anna. =(
Note: I use ComingNext as a calendar widget, search on google to find 3 widgets.
> Can't use voice command (was "Call" button before, now, I can't seem to find it anywhere)
> Internet browser still bad compared to Opera.
> Homescreen widgets must be arranged individually. An ability to "Arrange" similar to Menu would be practical, or a method similar to "customize homescreen" method from Anna.
Missing:
> Still no email notifications integration.
> Still doesn't disable touchscreen during calls (when next to ear).
> Search doesn't allow searching by category (contacts, emails, sms, files).
> WEATHER WIDGET

I can't believe all the negativity towards belle, incompatible/missing apps aside. My n8 is running much faster than Anna - no lag. Scrolling is smooth. App access is quicker that using the menu (assuming you don't have shortcuts). The homescreen is a vast improvement - you could only previously have 6 widgets on a page. If you really wanted, you can have many more small widgets, or a few much larger ones. The mail widget is an immense improvement - I can see mail notifications, and scroll my entire inbox from the homescreen.
Oh, voice commands is a bummer, you have to put a shortcut to voice commands to use it. You don't have to hold it (like Anna's call button) at least. The network drop down is great. Simple and quick access to turning on/off mobile and wifi. Much quicker than drilling down menus, and because of this, my battery life has almost doubled.
Incidentally, I got rid of opera and use the nokia browser. Works for everything I use and has flash. I'm an engineer and shouldn't really think of this, however the UI looks much better - modern and simple rather than the dated 6 slots of yesteryear. Give it a chance.
Cheers....
