Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the XpressMusic 5800 should have an audible alert say every minute or so to let me know I have a voice mail message, I know there is one when the message first arrives?  Also the same for text messages, I know there is a flashing button, but I was hoping for an audible alert, not just for when it first arrives?

yes there is an alert for both if your not getting one delete all text from phone the back uo data and reset by tpying in *#7370# security code is 12345 voicemail only works if you have it activated with operator

forgot to mention there is an app to keep reminding you if you miss the initial message its called remind me

Thanks for your help.

I do get an alert for both, for voice mail I get one audible alert then it is on my home screen that I have a voice mail, on my text I receive one audible alert then the white button flashes every few seconds.

What I am really asking is on my last phone when I received a voice mail or text message I received and audible tone about every 30 seconds or minute, not sure which but it kept sounding until I checked the message, this does not happen with this phone, all I need to know is if this phone has that capability?
