INSTANT MESSAGING NOT WORKING(5800 XM)

hi friends,

Several times I have tried to run the "instant messaging" from the day of my purchase(September 2009) but whenever I Tap/Click on it nothing happens!!!

 

it neither opens nor anything else happens. It does not open and it does not functions also.

Any solution to this problem Guys???please help.

Try installing an App. MSN works perfect (just like on computer) on my N97, also Gravity has an IM function and Fring. You could also use browser to bookmark an IM site and use that. Google IM on Nokia and you will find a solution.

Had the same problem with mine, screen just flashes and the instant messaging program fails to start, i did a reset to factory settings and is now working, but dont have a clue how to get it working with my messenger account.
