Re: How to remove the following from N97?

hi everyone

I did hard reset and my C memory  increased to 22 MB after I installed map and Skype applications .  It is about 2 weeks and C phone memory  is still around 22 MB. I try to clear cache everyday or every 2 days . For now it works .

I hope it works on your devices too.

Re: How to remove the following from N97?

Well Nokia.. I have read this discussion and seen the disgruntled loyal nokia users.. not good.  All you are doing is pushing people to hack their phones to get rid of these apps which people don't want.

So guys if you want to get rid of these then go get yourself a hacked firmware where they have been removed and flash your phone.

Re: How to remove the following from N97?

@AMITDANGERA , I am having Nokia 5800xm and the procedure is

Go to the sub-menus till these applications appear on your screen.  (do not click on their Icons to open). Click Options--> Organise-->Now highlite the application you want to remove --> Options--> Remove

Hope for N97 you can follow the same.

If it solves your query pl. click the Green Star

Re: How to remove the following from N97?

I am not aware of a procedure to remove quickoffive & adobe reader because they are built in with the firmware.
@farby, did you try your procedure with with quickoffice/adobe reader? I dont recall of the 5800xm came with these app!

Re: How to remove the following from N97?

I'm not one to complain normally but feel I have to add my voice in the hope nokia might eventually listen to their customers, I have spent hours trying to get rid of these apps to no avail. .

We should have  the choice to remove them if we want to, if not is is likely the last nokia I will buy!!

Re: How to remove the following from N97?

i see the moderators are checking these posts for foul language and what ever, so why are they not responding to any of this ? we brought our phones from YOU ! we did pay any of the apps creators we paid the shop who in turn paid you.... you need to sort this out, im sure there is some legal way to do this i.e class action against nokia ?? i know this is possible with the amount of complaints against you. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS, IM SURE IL BE BACKED BY PLENTY OF PEOPLE !!
