I jus bought my N97.. when viewin the file manager, I see that there are 2 diratories in the phone.

Phone memory 72.8MB

Mass memory 29.8GB

and of cos I have the 3rd directories, the Micro SD directory

I did not install any SW and if i do. its from OVI store on my SD card. I have about 300 contacts & some calender items.

But my Phone memory show I only left with 4MB. and at times I get msg saying I dont have enough memory for sms. I tried deleting all my sms in my inbox & sent box. It sill show i have very low memory.

I browse through the folder in my Phone memory, but there are all empty...

HOW DO I INCREASE THE PHONE MEMORY?
WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You are confusing mass storage with RAM. RAM is neither visible as C:, E:, or any other device.

You can have 70 MB free on C: and still have no RAM left. They are two different things.
