How to Soft/ Hard reset 5800,E71,N95 and N97

To make a Hard Reset on a Nokia phone that is not willing to turn on, just press simultaneously these 3 buttons:

on/off + * + 3

Reset a Nokia 5800

Press simultaneously the 4 button:
Green button
Red button
Camera button
On/off button

If you perform properly the above manipulation the phone restarts and you must enter the time, date …

Reset a Nokia E71

Type *#7370# from the standby screen while your phone is on.
It will ask for the lock code which is 12345 unless you have previously changed it.
Make sure you do this right, because if you do it too many times the wrong way you can lock up your phone.

Reset a Nokia N95

Soft reset code *#7370#
Hard reset code *#7780#

If the hard format code mentioned above does not work, try the following manual method to hard reset/format Nokia N95:

+ Turn off the mobile device.
+ Press and Hold the following three buttons: the green Call Answer button, the “*” button, and the number “3″ button.
+ While holding these buttons, turn on the phone and keep holding the keys until the mobile phone restarts and prompts you to enter details.

Reset a Nokia N97

If your Nokia n97 freezes at startup, and the Nokia logo is displayed,
You can reset your N97 while pressing the 4 buttons describe above:
Power button
Space key
Delete key (left arrow logo)
Caps /shift button (up arrow logo)

The Nokia logo appears and then after a few moments you will be asked to configure your phone.

Important: All your contacts, messages, calls, applications, themes, everything will be gone. So BEWARE. Backup your important stuff first. Your memory card will be fine, so anything there will be saved. However, if you have applications installed on the memory card, I recommend deleted those as well.
