How do I get the accuweather to be blue and how do I get the Ovi store thing on the bottom?

Also, how come the pictures of the people are so high quality and crisp? On mine they're small, smudgy and blurry. No matter where the pic has come from. How do I fix it to look like that?

what he means is that this isnt a picture of a real phone. this is an advertisment and it is enhanced using some sort of software. if you have knowledge of how to use those softwares (and your very good at it), you can pretty much get it to look like anything you want.

kind of like how models and actors look amazing in magazines and videos and commercials and all that but if you take a look at a "real" photo of them (by paparazzi for example) you see that they look a little different (they are not wearing a ton of makeup) and not as good and their skin is not as smooth and they may have a sore or a pimple or whatever.

That's not a photo, it's a drawing (illustration). Drawings always look better than photos. I did product illustration and package design for electronics for years and I almost always used a drawing instead of a photo because it could bemade to look much better.

The contact photos are not on a phone, they are the same as photos you would see on your computer. A real phone would not look so perfect.

like i said, if i konw how to use the software, i can make the background to be whatever color i want. so that explains the blue. UNLESS there is a way to set the color of the widget yourself which i do not know.

about the ovi widget, i dont know if it actually exist on the phone (maybe on some versions it does and on some it doesnt). the way to check would be:

on home screen press options-->edit content-->click on an empty area of the screen which is available for widgets-->add content-->shortcut [some number]--> click on the same bar again (you'll notice that some shortcuts were added)-->settings-->click on one of the shortcuts-->choose "application".--> see if ovi store is in the list.

if that doesnt work (or its not in the list) i see that once you cick "add content" there is a "download" field. i dont know what that is but maybe you can download the ovi store widget.

That is NOT a picture of a PHONE. The colors, widgets etc are made up, they're not real. As far as I know there is no way except to make your own widget background, hack into the program's code and replace the widget background to your own. I would guess that it's not open source code so good luck. The programming may not be that bad depending on what language it's done with. I have no idea, not a programmer, but sometimes images like backgrounds are stored in DLL files.

To customize  individual apps design you need to rebuild the actual software of the app itself. That is not a theme, it's not even a picture of a phone LOL

It's a drawing so they could make stuff any color they want (the blue is probably just a mistake)

edited: The OVI icon I've never seen before. Maybe it's on other carriers but I've never seen it. I know the contact pictures are set in the contacts list, I don't know how to choose an icon for an application shortcut but I know it's possible. Theme makers do it so it mnust be possible to do a single icon.

btw - I'm assuming that widget backgrounds don't work the same as shortcut icons. Themes have different shortcut icons but I've never seen a theme change a widget background.

it's advertising... nothing in ads is as perfect in real life.

It should be obvious though. The screen doesn't look real at all. The icons along the top and the profile icon are all wrong.

The OVI shortcut icon may be from an old OVI install. It looks dated and I know that when you do an illustration like this you don't always get the newest images to work from. It's probably just a really old icon or it's made up.

Do you know how to customise your home screen? The Nseries 3 theme is what that picture depicts.  The OVI store thingy is the OVI contacts install it but you will mates signed up to it.

But why advertise something that a phone doesn't have? If a buyer can't manipulate the screen to look that way, then what's the point of advertising that way? I'm not talking about the quality of image or such ...

Actually you CAN get clear crisp pictures on the contacts bar! Mine are quite clear and not blurry or smudgy in any way. Although it would depend upon the quality of the picture you use in the first place, although I am using a 5800. When you assign a photo to a contact, DO NOT delete the photo or move it. The photos on the contact bar will blur if you do. This is because the contacts bar will be linked to the actual photo saved in your phone. However if you move it the link is broken. This worked for a 5230 and a 5800, may be the same for you guys.
