Hey, I don't really want to accidently press 3G and 2G etc
is there a way to disable it? I am on monthly contract and have an option where it costs me 30p to use internet if I go onto it, but thats for the entire day.
Also, I have the most recent ovi maps and I set it to offline mode, and tried to download some voices. It said, connect to internet? And I pressed yes and it downloaded them. Would it have used 3g/2g or my WLAN?

You have to check your settings. Settings > Connectivity
If you want to thank someone, just click on the green star at the bottom of their post

To have complete control over most applications connecting to internet, go to Meny>Internet>Web>Options>Settings>General>Access Point>Always Ask. When you have set it to that, whenever your phone wants to connect to the internet, a pop-up menu will show asking what connection you want to use (Search for WLAN, Internet (this is mobile net, 3G or GPRS), and WAP).

Go into connections and destinations in you phone menu and delete all the data connections for your network operator. That way it will not connect again.
If you need them back, all you need to do is call your operator, and they will send the settings to you
Hope this helps
