I've recently bought a 5830 and have a small issue with my email. The point is I seem to have two hotmail accounts shown on my phone; when in reality I have just one. The first is indicated by a yellow envelope with the @ sign, the second with a white envelop with a stamp. The first seems to synchronise fine, the second doesn't synchronise any longer.
I think the former email account is a pop account which I set up on setting up the phone. The second I think I downloaded from hotmail. I just want one! Do you think I can safely delete the pop account (yellow envelope)? If so, how?

I have the same thing and would advise using the yellow one. The white one on mine is part of the MSN app, which I normally just use for chat, it won't cause any problem or conflict just set the yellow one Hotmail1 in my case as 'Mailbox in use' and you'll be fine.
Good Luck

In the end, I went against your advice and deleted the yellow envelop and I'm just running with the MSN thing as you describe it.
It seems to work fine, it syncs correctly and independently of me.

Hi, glad you got it sorted, just done the same thing myself, thanks for the tip, no point havivg two boxes for one account, and set it to sync every couple of hours.
Cheers

Never mind being sad for only getting 2 emails, how sad has someone got to be to have email on a 'phone' anyway ?
And I flatten the battery on my phone every day I;m that sad !!!!!!
Keep enjoying your phone, it's a great piece of kit.
Cheers
