Hi All!

 

I'm in need of advice.

 

I'm getting HUNDREDS of phonecalls a day from a private number on my Nokia N86. Does this phone have a facility to block unknown numbers at all? Or know of anything I can download to help?

 

I can't even report it because whoever is calling isn't even leaving a number...but when I answer, it's just a dead line! This is 24hrs a day, 7 days a week and I've had enough! :smileysad:

Well, any facility that can block a number would need to have the number, except for Mobile Melon Advanced Blocker which allows you to import the numbers to be blocked from call log. It's not free though. You could try to find a free or lite version over the web I guess.

I'd agree with ChanChan.. it wouldn't be possible to block a number without first knowing that number.

I'd be tempted to get in touch with your service provider, and ask them to investigate where these calls are originating, or change your number.
