Hi,

I upgraded my N8-00 with Belle but now I cant able to share my Gallery images on my social network, when ever I click on the share button in gallery it gives message 'Feature not supported'..

please provide necessary fix asap..

Did you setup social account in N8? It need to be setup in pre-installed social app in N8, & make sure time is set correctly in your phone. Sharing to social network that included in this pre-installed social app should be works fine if turn on internet connection in phone.

yeah same problem here. and my connection always lost so my social network won't update automaticaly.

after connectiing to the wifi then after few secs you need to reconnect again,

Configured with the latest Social Application Version 1.5.214. Configured both Fb and Tw accounts. I can share through social App but not from gallery.

Please this bug need to be fixed.

I've configure both Facebook and Twitter on Social App comes with Nokia, my contats are sink and get connected with the Social app and I can see the Facebook and Twitter using Social but I can't able to share photos using Gallery.

please help and fix.

Im having same firmware version but different Social Client version (1.3.236) with you, even after click update in Social Client N8.

What do you see in Gallery after you select a photo & click share button? Do you able to see any social network that you had been setup before in Social Client?

I configured both Fb and Twitter account .

I'm able to see all the social network if I use the Social App.

I'm able to share picture throught the Social App.

I'm not able to share a picture directly from the Gallery and the message is: "Funzione non Supportata" (in Italian).

That's exactly what happen to me.

Function not Supported? It looks like something wrong with your firmware variant.

My N8 no issue for sharing via Gallery after updated to Belle.

Try to report it to Nokia through Nokia website contact us.

Dear svi78,

The Social Client v1.5.214 is still there in the Nokia Store, and not been removed, as you mentioned. Please notify us when the fixed app is ready to download from the Nokia Store. I was so disappointed with I got the error being discussed here... Thank you for making us aware that it is a bug with the Social Client and not with the Belle OS we had installed just a few days ago....

Remove Social v1.5 and install Social v1.3 now working fine ..

I hope not to be off topic, but what about a new Social version for E6? The last official one is 1.3 and 1.4/1.5 could be installed but didn't work.

I finally got Sharing from the Gallery feature working again, although it was much more trouble than should have been. Here's what I tried.

1 Soft Reset (hold down power button untill phone vibrates 3 times) - didn't help

2. Uninstalled Social 1.5 and the Social Installer app - didn't help

3. Tried to find a copy of Social 1.3. Searched the Store, ran Software Update and Nokia Suite Update and did a web search for the Social 1.3 client download but came up empty handed 

4. Reinstalled Belle using Nokia Suite. That gave me Social 1.3 but the "Feature not supported"  error was still there

5. Hard Reset - Settings > Phone > Phone management > factory settings - This worked and I have Social 1.3 and a working Share icon in the Gallery. 

Beware that if you hard reset it will wipe all your data, files and apps from your phone -including everything on E:Mass memory so backup everythig you care about or be sorry.

I Choose the next option, uninstall the app nokia social v1.5, but you need to uninstall too the installer, the widgets and the SSOUI and SSOUsernameWidget apps. On the next step you need to reboot the phone and install nokia social v1.3 or v1.4, both versions make work the share icon in the gallery.

No need to hard reset your phone, the new client v1.5.215 fixes this. Just check SW updater, update available for SOME phones OTA and via Nokia Suite.

Social network client version 1.5.215 is to download and install via SW Update (or Nokia Suite) for Nokia Belle devices. This version fixes the Photo sharing issue.
