Use your nokia 97 browser and go to www.nimbuzz.com and download their messenger. Make an account and you will be able to use all the messegers. I guarantee this one is better than the OVI one. Nimbuzz just came out with one for n97. Enjoy

I have tried installing this but every time I have downloaded the Nimbuzz.sisx file I get a message which says:

'Update Error'

are you guys using your phone to download it? because if you do it goes directly to the n97 nimbuzz widget download and it works perfectly

about the same but the nimbuzz have it's own widget for the n97 i dont think fring has the one for n97 still using the old not sure....but i guess try for yourself and compare i havent tried fring since n95. Nimbuzz is pretty fast and is easy to use.

I've downloaded and installed it ok on my N95. I have it set to use my Wlan, and it connects ok. When I try to call my home landline number, from my phone book, it says "Dialling", but never gets beyond that.

Any suggestions? Comments? Settings?

i should say it look WAYYYYYYYYYY nicer than fring, easier to use, user friendlier, u actually know your contact is from msn, yahoo, .... opposite of fring that shows u only if they r online or away

the only benefit of fring over nimbuzz as far as i can see is that fring has msn call and nimbuzz doesn't have a msn call

oh i though you meant by the shortcuts lol >.> i just put it in my shortcut tab lol i still consider it as home XD....well yeah nimbuzz is better than fring is easier to use....you said there's no msn call? well i dont know if what you mean is what i think it is...but when you touch someone's name you can input call not sure if that's what you mean ><

that call is just for SIP and celluar and Skype , not for msn call

but i just tried the SIP , it gives u really good quality
