Additionally, by setting volume to the maximum you are operating most of the components outside there optimum setting which will result in the degradation of the sound quality.   

 

 


 

Amen to that.Stop whining and return the phone.

 

As for setting the volume to maximum, please consider the risk to damaging your hearing. Unlike "This is Spinal Tap" (England's loudest band), louder isn't always better. Music is about so much more. The 5800 is not perfect, but this forum is about solutions, not whining. IMHO.

hiii..i bought nokia 5800 last week and not able to use it efficiently as the installs are faileing again n again like nokia photos...and also in ovi suite it doesnt detect my mobile while it is connected with usb..though my pc n laptop does..can help me out.

If you haven't already, turn on stereo widening - makes the sound so much better :smileyhappy:

You can find it in the ringtone/audio player options.
