ive tried hard reset

restoring defaults

updating

i even got a new 3g simcard

it works without a simcard

but with a sim card, it just switches off every ten mins or when im doing something eg half way threw a text msg

suggestions plz =[

you should take it to nokia care to repair it and update your phone

ive updated it myself? theres not a repair center near me

There is something wrong in the electrical system you should take it to repair... ..Update does not solve the problem

try removing battery and memory card for 15 mins then start up with just battery and no memory card and see if it starts up and stays on,
if this fails turn off again and try holding down the number 3 key ,star key and call key while turning phone on until you see nokia handshake
if these fail it will need to be returned to a nokia care centre

ive done a hard reset

nothin helped it

i tried it without the sim card in it and it stayed on for longer but eventually played up again

there isnt a repaid center near me AT all

so if it still not working with a sim card you should have to repair it. take it to any certified mobile care center. they will repair it for you. there must be a hardware faulty.
