Desired UI-additions to S60 OS

Dear Nokia,

it would make me (and likely also many others) very happy if you could update the Symbian S60-UI to resemble the following:
scr-updown[1-3].jpg
Because using the slider with sufficient care can be a great pain if the amount of menu items is considerable, and hence even a slight movement of the slide can send the menu way past the desired menu option.

p/lease look at http://home.ooijer.com/Scr-updown1.jpg

for some crude suggestions of what's really desired. (as in: more than welcome)

P.s. I'm saying this as a user of the 5800.

There is a contact email address on the right which you have to send your suggestions to. If it gets posted, the image is licensed under the Creative Commons, meaning that it can be reproduced provided that credit is given and so on, so you should check that.
