Customizing n85 home screen

Hi, I just recieved my n85, and I am trying to find a way to change the shortcuts and the layout of my home screen. The only thing I can figure out how to do is to use a picture as the background, and to change the layout as far a icons or "list" layout. I can't remove or add any shortcuts. I would prefer a more welcoming home screen if I can make it happen. Any ideas?
