Hi all, I've got a problem and can't seem to find much about it. My family all have similar phone numbers for convenience, it makes remembering them easy, but  no matter who I call, it always comes up as the same person, ie

my father has +61418907654, my sister has +61408907654, my mother has +61428907654, and I have +61438907654.

The problem is that when my gf tries to call me with her N85 from her recent calls, or missed calls, or sees the caller ID when I call it always shows as my mother, not me. Does anyone know a solution to this bug?

Unfortunately there is no solution to this bug.  If you search the forums you will see that quite a few people have had this problem in the past, especially people from Australia and India.

The phone looks at the last few (i believe 7) digits when a number calls so it gets confused by similar numbers.

You could try complaining to nokia using the "contact us" link near the top of the page.
