Check this out: Cool doppler-effect on N95 !

[ Edited ]
My N95 user guide (pg.78-79) say there's supposed to be a Doppler effect under the "3-D Tones" function, but it is NOT there on my phone! -can someone explain this?

By right it should be under the directory: Menu -> Tools -> 3-D tones -> Doppler effect -> On/Off.

Tell me, is there any other N95 users in UK do have this doppler-effect on their phone or is it just me?

:smileysurprised:

Hi,

you need to set the 3-d tones to on and the sound trajectory to fly by... then doppler option will appear

Hope this helps

Re: Check this out: Cool doppler-effect on N95 !

Aaah.. now i see it.
-Thanks!

But then, how does this doppler-thing work?
The user guide says the ringing tone sound higher when you are closer to your device, and lower when you are farther away.

I set the doppler and 3-D tone ON, then i use another mobile to test-call to my N95.
I walk away from my N95, and then come closer to it but don't hear any difference in its tone except the fly-by mode which keeps the ringing low & high regardless of my distance from the phone.

Is there a somekind of sensor which can sense my body heat for that doppler thing to work?
-Where is that sensor then?
