Changing the DNS settings on my T-Mobile N95

Hi all, I'm trying to change the DNS settings on my T-Mobile N95, so I can point the phone to a different domain name service site. I can't seem to find the DNS setting anywhere in any of the menus on the N95? I hope you can change them, any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks, Dan

Sorry, stupid me - my phone's an E61

Always getting the two mixed up!

Re: Changing the DNS settings on my T-Mobile N95

Err - sorry, I don't know the answer... but perhaps I might be able to help in some way.

I don't have the E61 (I'm an N95 user), but are you trying to do this for your WLAN (WiFi) connection or is it for internet access over the cell network?

Also - I don't know if this site will let you, but if you're able to change the subject of this post - you may get more help from others who may know how to deal with your question. Alternatively, ditch this thread, and creater a new one with E61 in the title! :smileyhappy:

Re: Changing the DNS settings on my T-Mobile N95

Try going to "Settings" -> "Connection" -> "Access Points"

Now select the access point you want to configure the DNS settings for and press "Options" -> "Edit"

Now press "Options" -> "Advanced Settings"

Open up the "IPv4" menu, from here you can manually configure the assigned IP address, Default gateway, DNS adress etc.
If I have helped you, please hit the star at the bottom of my posts - it's appreciated!
