Cannot retrieve texts?

Im not sure if this is right place to ask about this, so I apologize if this is wrong.

 

I recently purchased a Nokia 5800 xm and everything was fine until this morning when it has suddenly decided to stop automatically retriveving my texts.  I now have to turn my phone off and back on again for my mobile to get them.

 

I dont think I have accidentally altered any settings to make this happen...so why would this be happening?

Never heard of such problems.

 

Do you have the latest firmware? V31.

 

I have a 5800 but never got a problem like yours.

At the risk of sounding an idiot how do I check my firmware?I have not updated firmware on it, so it would be whatever one the phone came with.

 

I have never had this issue before on my phone or any other phone either, I'm very confused...

OK, 21.0.025 on my O2 mobile...I'm going to update it now and see if that helps.

It says my firmware is up to date :smileyindifferent:

 

Looks like O2 has not authorised the 3.1 firmware for my model as yet.
