I updated my Nokia N8 to Belle this week, at first I hated it but i am growing to like it, until today.
When I connect my phone to my laptop with the USB cable I cannot see the pictures in Windows Explorer, the folder where they should be is just blank, this is very fustrating as it means I cannot cut and paste photos off my phone, i can only copy them via the import function.
I have had my N8 for a long time now and never had this problem.
Also, it keeps saving the images as 001, 002, 003 etc, even though I select in options to save as date.
What is going on!? can someone please help. I do not want to have to do a hard reset and loose everything and have to install it all again which i had to do when i updated to Belle. And I'm doubting this will solve my problem anyway...?
Could it be the drivers that have been installed?

photos you take with your camera now get stored in DCIM folder.
after connecting phone to pc search DCIM folder your pics should be there
