Hi all,
Right, this is part rant, part cry for help!
My phone has been the victim of WSOD several times... Each time I haven't been able to play previously added licensed content.
Now this has become a problem with Nokia Music Store and with a recently aquired free digital copy of Transformers 2 which I can only transfer once...
Does anyone know if I can recover the license for this film off the phone? Nokia Music Store has a way of getting music back on the phone, but its not 100% effective.
<rant>
When will Nokia find a way of protecting my DRM content from being made useless on unreliable phones? In the age of digital content licensing it is almost stealing when people will have to repurchase something they have already paid for. I know that the iPhone isn't perfect but the people I know who use it never have a proplem with lost content... It doesn't cost them money is the point i'm making here! Perhaps Nokia should be looking at making a rock solid OS in their next flagship phone, there can't be many more features to squeeze in (Compass, FM Transmitter etc. the N97 has pretty much everything you'll ever need!)...
