Help! I have a Nokia 5800 and its suddenly gone bonkers. i'm meant to have a shortcuts bar and the top of my home screen...but its gone. ive obviously been into settings > personal > home screen > home screen theme to shortcuts bar..and all the inbetween. i've tried turning  my phone on and off, taking the battery out and updating the software. but nothing is happening. as well as not seeing the shortcuts when i press the dialler or contacts shortcut nothing happens. same with the calendar. also when i press the green and red buttons in the home screen nothing happens. 

things seem to work better when i have a contacts bar on the home screen but i want the shortcuts one. 

anyone know if they can help or had a similar problem?? would be much appreciated for any help on the matter.

 Well, I've got exactly the same problem! The only theme that works for the startscreen is the contacts bar. It would be really good if someone knows what do do, it is really annoying! When I press the shortcuts or dialer or contacs, the phone vibrates but nothing happens!

this has been brought up many times the best thing is to do soft reset the code is *#7370# back upo contacts /messages this returns the phone to out of box state

thanks! atfer doing this it is all working again. unfortunately is horrible having to sort your phone out all over again.
