Re: Black Out

Hi,

try to make a soft reset, dial *#7370#. Phone will be reformat and revert to the state like from box. All your private data will be erased, settings too. Then you should make a memory backup first. After reset restore your backup without settings, private data (contacts, calandar, sms, etc.) only.

Memory backup make on memory card and also in Nokia Content Copier (part of Nokia PC Suite, install last version)

Cheers

Have you tried a software update?

as mentioned try software update, if there is none, try to go to your neareset Nokia Care Point as i think this is the 1st time somebody was complaining about a frequent rebooting...

btw, did you recently installed any new application or theme?  if you did, try to remove that 1st and see what happens...

Re: Black Out

If software update and soft reset didn't help, it probably has to be a seriously defect (SW,HW). Go to Nokia service and demand for repair or to the retailer for change on new one.

It is not

Re: Black Out

Glad to see I wasn't the only one with this problem of the phone turning itself off, and i have never removed my battery (apart from to fix it).  I sorted this a couple weeks ago, after endless 'experrts' told me it was a software problem. How come the mind set today is all software based.  Playstation Generation, check the simple things first!!!! Its not always down to Software.  On another note, Nokia, when are you going to acknowledge you have a problem with these batteries!.
