Hi,
My N95 rebooted the other day by itself and came back asking me to change time/date etc etc.
T
The backlight was not working and hasn't worked since. It is so annoying as I can hardly see the screen.
Have to put it under light to see. Has anyone had to change a bulb on their N95 before? Any one any ideas?

Sounds like some electric component has burnt out causing the phone to restart. First, though, check:
'Light sensor' under Tools > Settings > General > Personalisation > Display
and make sure it is in the middle position. Or simply play with it and see if it changes brightness at all. In case it does not then you're definitely in the need of visiting the service centre.

ye its in the middle alright. any change makes no difference. :-(
