My N8 keeps on rebooting after updating to Anna.

The only way around is switching back to GSM, which is no solution.

Please Nokia take your responsibility and reply !!!!

You don't say whether this was FOTA update as could always backup essential data and try re-installing existing software using Nokia/Ovi Suite or Nokia Software Updater and then try device before restoring any data to it.

Which country and network are you on ?

I am living in The Netherlands and my network is KPN...

Does this make any difference for this problem ? Unfortunatly I cannot change provider.....

In your place I would first try reinstalling Anna with Nokia Suite or Nokia Software Updater and if that doesn't help then I would ask my provider for a new SIM card.

Why should there be something wrong with my sim card, it worked/works without a problem the last 1 1/2 year, before updating to Anna ??

Hi, 93tid is a user like most others on this forum, a very experienced one.
As he said, your first option is to re-instal Anna using Nokia Suite, check for updates then take the re-instal option.
If that fails and there is a Nokia Care handy, I'd take it in to be checked / re-flashed.
Re the SIM card, they do fail with time and the N8 / symbian 3 seems to be less tolerant of old cards for some reason, there are many reports on the forums of people fixing their problems with a new card.

so, okay after all the trouble I went through with this N8 phone (after the problems with my first AND second Nokia X6 phone drove me mad) I have ordered and received a new sim card.

and guess what......

STILL THE SAME PROBLEM WITH REBOOTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anybody interested in this problem with Nokia ?

I experienced exactly the same problems.

But after I  changed one setting, the problem seemed to be fixed.

Try the following ;

1. Open Settings > Connectivity >Network
2. Turn the setting  "Call info display" to Off
