A Big Problem With My N73

I've got a problem with my wonderful N73
From time to time I get the "Memory Full. Delete some data." message.
I go in Memory Details ----> Phone Memory and see that memory in use is 44Mb, Free memory just few Kbs, but there's no reason for this! because:

Calendar 407 B
Contacts 50 KB
Messages 162 kB
Images 0 kB
Sound files 42 kB
Video clips 0 B
Documents 1 kB
Applications 0 B

so all that I can do is to back-up phone memory, format phone's memory and then restore all the data. After I do so things are back to normal for some days, but phone's memory slowly goes down untill it reaches just few Kbs.
I really don't know what to do, it's not a firmware problem because I changed it and problem still persists.
PLEASE HELP MEEEEE!

Actual firmware is:
V 3.0705.0.0.31
26-01-2007
RM-133
(c) Nokia N73 (01)

P.S.: I opened another post like this in "Hardware, Codes, And Operator Issues" that was a mistake, sorry...

Re: A Big Problem With My N73

Hello there.
I've just read your post and am wondering if your N73 problem was the same as the one I had-phones telling you it's memories full but you know it's not? it sounds like it.
You've checked your text and freed the space up I gather? if you have done that and you're still getting the phone full message, it's sounds like the 'Lifeblogs' section is full.
Apparently, this phone retains all your texts(etc) ready for you to post them online-like a diary-even though you're deleting them yourslf. I didn't know this and asked a good friend of mine-he told me to try this on my phone and it worked so try it on yours:

Menu>Applications>Lifeblog>Options>Settings>Item Types then uncheck everything. This will stop it saving everything in your blog.

I hope this helps

Re: A Big Problem With My N73

hey thanks for your help.
Well, I tried to delete all of the contents of the Lifeblog but the problem doesn't seem to be that.
I also tried to clear the cache, but again the problem is not that.
Right now my situation is this:
Memory in use 10 MB
Free Memory 34 MB
Calendar 407 B
Contacts 50 KB
Messages 173 KB
Images 0 KB
Sound Files 42 KB
Video Clips 0 KB
Documents 1 KB
Applications 0 KB

Where the hell come that 10MB of space in use???

Re: A Big Problem With My N73

I tried the reset so many times... I tried the hard format as well. But it didn't work.
That's why I think the problem is related to something is restored from the backup. But what???

Re: A Big Problem With My N73

Okay. Calm down...
Y know a more recent update has just been added for an n73.
And y are sayin somethin' is wrong while getting the restore from PC suit, right?
Man, I technically [before resetting] backed up only the contacts and the settings defined :smileywink: to my pc suit and after ressetting the restorin was quite fast and fair.
But whenever I did it while loads of applications or files the restorin procedure was a nightmare for me.
As for now, give it a time.
Last thing :contact yr nokia dealer directly.:smileysad:
