6110 Navigator not displaying caller name

I purchased a 6110 Navigator in the last few days and have the following problem. When I recieve an incoming call from a named person in the contact list stored on the phone, the phone does not display the person's name but only the phone munber. Also the personalised ring tone does not play. The odd thing is this is not the case for all incoming calls from named contacts, some display callers name and play personal ring-tone.
I have a copy of the phone contacts on the SIM chip in the same format as on the phone. e.g. +44XXXXXXXXXX I have tried deleting all contacts off the SIM chip, with the same results as above.
Firmware version on the phone is V 03.58 RM-122 20.06.07
Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: 6110 Navigator not displaying caller name

Install Nokia Search application, and search phone memory for duplicate numbers. When you find them, delete all duplicates, and it works well after.

Re: 6110 Navigator not displaying caller name

Hi,

I was hoping you could offer more information on this. I don't know how to install the search application and I only have 2 numbers stored. It only shows 'call' when I'm getting an incoming call.

Thanks!
