Whenever I send a text message ( Keywords for activaton / cancellation of some services e.g. ACT VLU99) to my service provider's helpline no. ( in my case 111) I always get a reply message saying "You have entered the wrong keyword..." I tried sending EXACTLY the same message after changing my SIM to other phone a Nokia N73 and the message gets accepted. This has happened atlest on 3 occassions.Pl. help.

This happens only when SMS is sent to the service provider with ther dedicated key words for activation/deactivation of some services. The key words are like ACT VLZERO, CAN VL, the one already mentioned above and like. Pl. let me know what more info is needed. The 5800 XM is updated with the latest firmware. This was happening with the earlier version also. I bought this fone about 6 months back and such SMSs are required to be sent rarely so till now it happened 3 times and I overcame the immediate problem by putting my SIM to another phone and sending the message so that my work does not suffer.

You can try this: Type your msg, then go to Options -> Sending Options -> Character encoding. Change it to Reduced.
Also, make sure that you have the correct Message Center Number updated in Messaging -> Options -> Settings -> Text message ->Message centres. You can set "Message Centre in Use" to SIM message centre.
Try changing the delivery reports option too.
