5800 won't send tect messages

All attempts to send messages fail, they just sit in my outbox and retry a couple of times.

 

Originally the phone didn't set to the correct Message Centre, which I have now set to T-Mobile (+447958879879) but still texts don't work.

 

Between this and the PC software not fuctioning and letting me put music on the thing, this really has turned out to be a terrible phone!

it might not be a messaging centre number problem, check if the the number you're sending to are in the correct format. if you're replying to messages you've been sent , check to see if you have reply centre defined in these messages. if so go to messages settings , check (reply via same centre) and choose no.

What do you mean by format?  It's a regular mobile phone number.  I've tryed replying to messages and making new ones, neither works, and reply via same centre is set to No.
