Can't tell you about the phones but head over to the carphone warehouse or something, get a contract phone for £15 a month or something, heres a few.

Re: 5800 or N85

Hi there

I have N85 and it is supposed to be a great phone but it has a terrible build quality - the kind you would only see with the cheapest phones. After 3 months of gentle use the front plastic cover came off all by itself. And it is full of bugs. It keeps rebooting. Picture quality isn't good as you would expect from a 6 MP camera because it is apparently compressing the pictures. No raw sawing function. Had many other problems. Just read the threads under N85 rebooting in this forum and you will understand what I mean. Many people are sending their phones back to Nokia Care Centers and they are being told that "Nokia is unaware of any problems" and after their phones are "fixed" they still have the same problems.

I don't know about the 5800. Haven't used it myself but it has one of the most crowded problem posts in this forum - one thread has more than 1500 messages.

I started telling all my friends that something happened to Nokia lately and to stay away from Nokia phones.

Just my two cents.
