5800 change internet access points priority with v40?

[ Edited ]

As title says, how do I do this with v40 firmware? Before, to move the priority of an internet access point all you did was to select 'change' then drag and drop. Now of course, if you drag, the whole screen moves and the access point doesn't !!

Is this a bug, or have I missed something obvious??

Also. previously if I used the embedded browser and selected 'search for WLAN' it would pick up and connect my home setup which is hidden but not WEPd. Now I either have to put in the wALN name every time, or connect using connection manager (which DOES recognise the local WLAN). Is this normal under the current firmware?

not too sure about ur WLAN problem but to change priorities you select change priorities then tap the one that you want to go to priority one.  It takes a bit of playing around but in essence theres no longer a drag and drop option but instead you have to tap

Re: 5800 change internet access points priority with v40?

Hmm, playing around with my 5800, it seems a bit different for me. Opening the internet access point, I highlight the one I want to move up to the first priority, select options>organize>change priority, then tap on the top of the list (priority 1). This would would the highlighted item to the top of the list. The same method could be used to move a selection to second or third or whatever priority.
