When the Music Player is playing music after 4/5 tracks it goes in an undefined status. It happens always when a track is finished and another one is about to start. I can still see the application active on the screen but no selections are possible, neither changing the song track nor to exit the application. The other phone funtions seems to be working properly during this event. Only way to get the music player working again is to shut down and turn on the phone.

What Fw version are you on scuba? You can diall *#0000# to check that.

Hi, i have a similar problem to scuba.In my case it started happening after updating the fw from V 40.00.005 to 40.0.005.232.05. As i have said, the symptoms are as scuba says. Anyone with a solution please help. thanxs

Same problem. Music player hangs after a couple of tracks - can't play any more tracks, can't exit it. Music player was working last week. I'm not sure what changed although I did install Adobe Flash Lite using OVI Suite recently. I uninstalled it after the player kept hanging - didn't make any difference.

I found another thread that said that sometimes you need to do a hard reset to complete an update. Well, if you do a hard reset, you lose all your settings. At least my music player is working again.
