5800 Xpress Dialpad No letters?

Hasn't anyone noticed the dial pad has no letters?   I find it weird because when you are texting you can

us the dialpad and then it has the numbers.   A lot of times you will hear a phone number or read one that uses letters

i.e. 1-800-collect

 

Does anyone know if Nokia is going to add the numbers to the dialpad in a firmware update?

I have noticed this too, and I do find it frustrating.

 

Especially when I am on the phone and need to input a password that I may have entered using a word.

I hope this makes it to the next release of software.

When is this going to get fixed for USA sold phones? I believe the v5 software distributed in Europe has it. The last software update I have (v40.2.005.263.04) does not have it. 

 

HOW LONG CAN SOMETHING LIKE THIS TAKE!!!!!!

 

Holy cow! We aren't asking you guys to launch a rocket ship! Maybe this is why NOKIA is in decline.

Just got the new firmware (v 51.2.007) on my Unlocked 5800. Guess what...still no letters on the dialpad.

How craptacular....
