Re: 5800 Home Screen

Hello,

My problem is very similar but I cannot fix it. I purchased a new 5800 recently and after updating de software to v. 50.0.005.315.07 and download a few maps with OVI I wasn't able to use the scrolling contact bar at the home screen. It has disappeared even if I choose  menu >settings> personal>homescreen> homescreen theme> shortcut bar, and then, when I choose menu >settings> personal>homescreen> homescreen theme> contact bar, the phone says that "there insn't any data" and nothing happens except the image at the home screen seems "broken" in the contact bar area. At the very first I could see the contact bar without any problem. Perhaps it has misconfigured when I updated? It is possible to restore making a hard reset? And how can I make it?

Another symptom I have noticed is that now I can't set the home screen theme that was as default by my phone company. The phone is unable to fix it.

I can't see by anywhere the add contact icon that I could see at the screen at first.

Thank you so much.

Re: 5800 Home Screen

I answer myself. After reading "problem after update for 5800 xpress" post, I reformatted my phone and all seems work fine! :smileywink:

Thanks.
