5800 BTinternet email set up problem

Hi, trying to set up my BT Intenet account on my 5800. When I enter my email address the phone (very cleverly!) imports the mailbox information from BT Internet. The only trouble is, it sets it up as a POP account and i want to set it up as an IMAP account (as i had on my old Nokia phone). It won't let me change this, says i can't amend an existing mailbox, delete it and make a new one up. I do this and the whole cyle repeats itself.

Any suggestions?

If you have Nokia messaging, I believe that sets up imap, I only use the standard email client and am happy with pop email. You can also use Emoze, which is free !
