----------sms problem----help

                 hi every,

                                    i have been using nokia 5800 for around 3 months now.and it was working perfctly fine. 2 days bak n still i m facing a realy weird problem.i type my sms.and when i send it, it saves to outbox indicating to be sent at a later time.then when it reaches that time,it again delays to a further time.

                                   i have contactd my network operator and my settings for the sim are perfectly fine. above all, the most unusual thing is that when i put the sim in some other cell, the messaging is wrking prfctly fine.and another unusual thing was that it started working fine yesterday for like 4 hours but then again same problem occured. everyother feature of this cell phone is working perfectly fine.

                                   therz no possibility of any virus as there are no weird functions occuring.and i dont use internet on 5800.and further i scan my files before i transfer them to my 5800 through data cable.my antivirus is updated.

                        plzz help...

quite often when writing an SMS using the AlphaNumeric keypad. The keypad will disappear and i end up hitting the "send" button on the screen. resulting in me sending half a text

Hi,

I have got the nokia 5800 and it's great. Altough I have one problam: I don't get any alert when I recieve SMS: no ring and no display. I do get the messege in the messege folder, but I need to check all the time manualy if I recieved any messeges.

just bought my nokia 5800 few days ago my problem is that when i receive incoming calls it does not display any number or name of the caller the screen is just blank... is there something wrong with my phone??? help please...

i just bought my nokia 5800 express music a month ago. I had this problem when i marked images and i want to sent it all via bluetooth to my pc, but then the hp only send one image, which is the image that highlighted when i touch send button. so i had to sent it one by one even though i already mark them. is it my pc or hp is problem?can somebody help me? ur help is much appreciated. tq.

Hv u installed any 3rd party software for sending SMS at a future date ? This might be the issue. Also prior to sending SMS check for applications running in background.

That is the reason why I have a thin layer of screenguard protecting my screen. It costed me Rs. 300 (around $6)

i m having a problem regarding music playing. i cant play music format AAC@48 KBPS (MP4) in this set, which was easily done on N73 me. it makes a noise at the begining of the track of each song. ive transferred all the song using nokia music software by nokia. . dont know what to do.

the 3.2 MP camera doesnt give a good result as N73 did.

if any 1 have any solution to this problem pls help me.

I don't know if this is a bug or feature, lol:

when i download new podcasts to the 5800 or but new music on the card, the music player (popup alert) asks if i want to refresh my podcasts listing. There is a bug i have report here before, which is, if I'm listening to a podcast at this time, if i refresh (saying yes to the popup refresh alert) i will lose the place i was listening and it sends me to the beginning of that podcast.

But any way, if i ignore this update popup alert and continue listening to the podcast, later after finishing, I have noticed that the music app has refresh the content in the background for me, great, which is good, but than why the question? and if i respond yes, i lose the pauses i have made in all my podcasts. I think this needs some tweaking.

bug:

i use my 5800 has a second phone and its mostly offline (offline profile). I had noticed that some games in this profile had no sound but changing it to general profile, the games would have sound. I have found a fix but its strange to me. In the offline profile you have to turn on "Warning Tones". I don't know what this has to do with game sound but it works.

When I try to use my Nokia 5800 camera it just says "Unexpected error occurred. restart the phone." is displayed Can someone help me ?

I'm facing the same problem, clock late around 3 min everyday.

I've installed firmware v20 (latest one) and it didn't fix the clock problem.

 Did you manage to fix it?
