Re: Skype for windows phone

Skype is coming soon for windows phones, Microsoft now own them so it shouldn't be too long. No exact date is known.

Skype in mobile

Hi,

I would like to know whether we can use skype in Nokia 701 or lumia series. I think this 701 support flsh player. Can we use this flash player to perform a skype to skype video call?

Re: Skype in mobile

That can be solved, by using the back camera at low resolution ;-)

If I remember correctly the 6630 also only had back camera, but supported 3G videocalling through the back camera.

Even without video calls skype can still be used for voice and text chat so it would still be a welcome service for many people.

Personally I couldn't care less about video calls, only ever made one in my entire life and have no intention to make more!

Re: Skype in mobile

Agree with you Psychomania not really interested in making video calls, if I'm on my desktop at home only use Skype for voice and chat calls unless its one of them good looking lady friends. :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Skype in mobile

Nokia 701 is not a windows phone, you may want to ask questions about that model in the symbian section of this forum.

Re: Skype in mobile

So... here we are THREE months later and still no Skype. I just bout my Lumia 800 today and am **bleep** to the clouds already. Been playing with it for 6 hours, trying to get it to work together with my laptop (Windows Vista) and the Bluetooth just won't work together with it. Not to mention that Lumia's bluetooth won't even work with my old phone which is Nokia C6.

Don't know should I laugh or should I cry...
