HI, I got my Lumia today and so far really like it but have a couple of questions which I can't seem to find the answer for. Firstly I've seen how to add a song as a ringtone via Zune and I've followed all the steps (made it less than 40secs long, renamed the genre to ringtone and then copied onto my phone) but it's still not showing in the ringtone section on my phone. Any ideas where I'm going wrong? Does it need to be a specific file type, at the moment it's mp3.
Secondly, when texting, I know it puts suggestions of the word you're typing in a box above the keyboard, but is there a way of switching on a more typical predictive text or making the keyboard bigger?
Thanks for your help. ![]()

I have an MP3 file 7 secs long and changed the genre (using Windows Media Player) to 'Ringtone' and copied it to the phone, using Zune.
If you then go to the ringtone section and scrollv down you'll find ringtones in three sections - 'Nokia', ringtones listed alphabetically, 'Windows Phone' ringtones not listed alphabetically, then 'Custom' and that's where mine was listed.

I have a number of custom ringtones on my Lumia, all downloaded from the Tehkseven site. Simply put them all in a folder, changed properties on mass to Ringtone and all show up fine on the Lumia (and not in music) As an experiment, try downloading something and test it on the Lumia, as apposed to creating yourself, not saying you shouldn't be able to do so, but just to test if the phone recognises it ?
