Nokia Lumia 800 Repair Parts

Hello everybody!

 

I was wondering if you guys here can guide me or help to fix my problem.


Recently I ordered one Nokia Lumia 800 in Europe and unfortunately it fall on the ground. Now its gorilla glass display is bricked. The touch functionalities are working fine. The problem is that it has a big scratch on the bottom of the glass.


So, since I live in Brazil, I called to Nokia Customer support here and the told me to go to Nokia Care near me and even gave the address to me.


I went Nokia Care near me and they told that since this device is not made in Brazil, they don't have the parts for replacement and suggested me to contact Nokia in Europe or USA to seek for parts, order than, and with the part in hands, they can service repair my device.


So, my question is: Is there any place where I can order those parts? Can you gave to me some contact like email of other Nokia Care centers in USA or Europe so they can ship to me this part?

Hi, how are you. I had the same problem with my Lumia 800 here in Brazil. Did nokia UK helped you? My phones mainboard is damaged and i need a new one. Plese let me know if you got lucky. thanks
Ah e eu ja fui no procon porque o telefone agora é fabricado no Brasil e eles ainda sim se negam a ter partes.

Hi Gutemberg,

 

While you cannot claim a warranty repair for a device bought in the EU from within Brazil it should be possible to repair your Lumia  800 at your expense however as the Lumia 800 is available in Brazil and as such replacement parts are available. The Nokia Care Point is not correct in their assessment on this. I would suggest you contact Nokia Care again and ask them to forward this to Nokia Care management to get this resolved for you.
