If anyone has noticed the HSDPA in the Diagnostic tool is always off even when you swtich it on and the phone reboots..Weird stuff..Then the other thing is that the discharge rate jumps to above 200-250 from 130-140!! What the hell is wrong with the phones antena drivers?? More and more I get a feeling that it is the cause for the massive battery drain because the drivers are jammed wide open sending the phone into a continuous scanning mode there by draining the battery even on manual setting for finding the network..

My touch screen ended up failing on me after a month. It's getting repaired now. I also remembered after the last update, on the diagnostic tool when you would select the wifi option it would cancel the diagnostic tool and go back to the main windows screen.

The Diagnostics tool isn't meant to be an end user tool.
It's meant for service centers.

Hi,
Firstly the diagnostic is **bleep** for the user cause everything is just estimations and test..No real diagnostic can be done..I've uninstalled it cause its not of any help except showing eratic figures with a messed up firmware..
I just got a proper micro sim card (not a cut one anymore) from the same operator..
Back to the renowned battery issue Yesterday charged my phone till 70% and now it reads..
Remaining Life 21% (Battery saver switches on at 20% only)
Time remaining 6 Hrs
Since Last Charge 1 day 4 Hours
Usage has been alot of text messages near a 100..Phone calls about 20-30minutes..Email syncing with 4 accounts..Fb and a little whatsapp..Using the me tile and people hub frequently..
On certain days it just drains out the battery..
Sometimes the battery status info also is completely haywire and indicates a higher remaining time and lower percentage and vis versa..This indicates a clear firmware and driver problem..
Nokia get your act together with the Lumia800 and also think aout the millions your'll have inconvinenced..

The battery staus is so random it may as well not exist. you can have no confidence in it.I'm at the end of my patience with this phone. Sory nokia but I' m replacing it with a Samsung. Lumia just not reliable.
