Tnx Aslan93, I will have to update my phone as at my firmware there is no "apn settings" at diagnostic tools...I tried "force update" yesterday around 10 times but couldn`t do it...I will try again...

Hi guys, an update on mine.. Since the Update last week, I have the extra battery diagnostic tool.. extra figures to look at and wonder why Nokia have told us this stuff (no explanation of most of them.. anybody found instructions for the diagnostics?) I see that Full Available Capacity, which as we know is around the 1450mark, varies between 1450mAh plus and 1320 (lowest so far). Full Charge Capacity - why would this be any different to the previous one?? - has been as low as 1260 and up to 1450. I've not yet found any pattern to these movements, and as previously commented - does it really matter? The battery life is improved, although I can't help but feel that if the phone can't 'see' all the battery then maybe the capacity isn't there?
Re display brightness, I usually have mine on the least bright setting anyway, so no worries from me there so far!

Wasn't happy how brightness of phone is since latest update so reverted to previous software for now in the hope that a better solution for battery problems.will have to charge phone more often or manually limit brightness because that's what they seem to have done to improve battery life.

Uninstalled latest update due no soft key lights on medium reinstalled now soft key lights working on auto brightness (medium setting) now to see if any improvements to battery life.

installed the 8106 update and while the little added bits were nice, the update brought issues with screen brightness. Auto bightness didn't work anymore - screen remained low - and when put on medium or high setting the soft keys stop lighting up - they only worked when in auto or low mode. I'm restoring the phone to its previous state hopefully a further update will solve the screen brightness issue. Still love the phone though!

Hi Everyone
I have been looking at getting the Lumia 800 for a while. I have always had Nokia phones as I have found them the best and easiest to use offering the best value for money.
As Nokia didnt have a phone last year that was what I needed, I changed to an Iphone 4s. I returned that within 2 weeks because of poor battery life being the main of many reasons. Now after reading all the problems on here about the Lumia I feel that a change of phone to a dif company is whats needed.
I have an E7 that I find ok, but changing due to wanting an upgrade.
It seems as if the problems that people are experiencing with the Lumia are similar in most aspects to the Apple Iphone.
Why the hell should people have a phone with all that the Lumia promises apps etc. But have to turn the damn things off all the time because they drain the battery. Then have to turn them on everytime you want to use them. Surely this defeats the object of having the phone and all that it offers. Did Nokia look at all the problems Apple and others have had and made sure there customers didnt experience the same. Obviously it seems not and that is poor customer service and a very quick way to lose loyal customers. Who like myself have used Nokia for years on end.
If anyone could advise me on any phone which would be an upgrade to my E7 I would appreciate it.
All the best everyone Bri

Hi, my Lumia 800 sometime not takes charge from the charger but when connected to the computer its okay. And sometime it vibrates in a very short interval and automatically glosses all the open application. Is it a problem? Can virus harm my Lumia. If yes what are the remady available. Please reply.
