Editing then forwarding received e-mails-not possible

[ Edited ]

Something else you can't do is edit an e-mail before it is forwarded. Discovered this today when writing an e-mail on work pc to e-mail to myself at my personal address so I could edit it and then forward it on from my home address rather than the office address. It's just much easier writing long e-mails on the offfice desktop but the content was personal, but hey ho, can't delete the office footer/address/ etc. You can  do this  with Symbian and on Galaxy Samsung.

Aside from what I was doing there must be loads of occasions when you want to forward an e-mail but edit  parts of it before it goes, seems the only option is to forward the whole original e-mail.

You can submit your request for this feature to Microsoft on the link below. You may want to check if it has already been submitted by someone else, if so you can vote on theirs instead.

Re: Editing then forwarding received e-mails-not possible

Hi Caitlin.

I find that if I do have a lot of stuff to type and then send from my phone as and when - I use Onenote on my Windows Live Skydrive account, then copy and paste whatever I need once it's synced on the phone to wherever it should go. eg mail, text, evernote etc.

Tried that, my phone won't let me copy and paste anything.
